MISSION STATEMENT

 

 

"Dogwood Sheltie Rescue (DSR) provides through rescue, for the welfare of Shetland Sheepdogs or herding breed-related and mix bred dogs that

 are surrendered, abandoned, lost, or abused. The organization provides rehabilitation, spay or neuter, treatment of medical needs, and placement

into suitable, loving homes. As part of its mission, DSR actively seeks

to cooperate nationwide with other

rescue organizations, animal shelters, humane societies,

and with individuals having like interests and to

educate and offer guidance to the public about responsible dog ownership."

 

Dogwood is a Nonprofit 501 ( C ) 3 organization
